Alan Robert Bruemmer

Alan Robert Bruemmer, 66, of Blairsville, GA, formerly of Taylor Mill/Covington, KY, passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2020. He was a retired Splicer with Cincinnati Bell. Alan loved his family and friends and loved to travel as well as ride his motorcycle. He also enjoyed scuba diving, gardening and was also very involved in his church, Fellowship of the Hills in Blairsville, GA, especially the men's group. Alan was preceded in death by his parents: Lester and Ann Bruemmer; son: Danny Bruemmer; brother: Paul Bruemmer; and father-in-law: Pops Gullett. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years: Laura Gullett Bruemmer; children: Bobby Bruemmer, Donald (Hannah) Meagher and Carie (Dave) Studer; siblings: John Bruemmer, David Bruemmer and Linda (Mike) Duvall; 6 grandchildren; loving mother-in-law: Jayne Gullett and numerous nieces and nephews. A private visitation and funeral service will be held at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015 on Saturday, November 28, 2020. Interment: Mother of God Cemetery, Fort Wright, Kentucky. Memorials are suggested to the Atlanta Hospital Hospitality House, 1815 South Ponce De Leon Avenue, NE, Atlanta, GA 30307.
