Angela Jean Trout

Angela Jean Trout, age 58, of Young Harris, Georgia, passed away on Friday, January 23, 2026, in Atlanta, Georgia. Angela was born on April 8, 1967, in Gainesville, Georgia, to Knox and Lila Campbell.
Angela was preceded in death by her father, Knox Campbell; her mother, Lila Campbell; her stepfather, Richard Greene; her aunt, Bonnie Mae Hunter; her aunt, Lucille Thomas; and her uncles, Edward Hunter, Billy Hunter, and Jimmy Hunter.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Ashley (Matthew) Holden; her step-son, Blake (Alana) Collins; her sister, Tonia Weaver; her brother, Jeffery (Doris) Campbell; her step-brother, Marty (Crystal) DeLay; her cherished grandchildren, Maeleigh Holden, Raelynn Holden, Levi Holden, Olivia Collins, and Noah Collins; her nieces, Lacy (Austin) Denton and Crystal (Jonathan) Lovingood; her nephews, Matthew (Tiffany) Weaver and Caleb Weaver; and her uncle, Lee Green.
Angela was a woman of strong and unwavering faith. She prayed daily and especially fervently in the days leading up to her passing. She found joy in life’s simple blessings—the color pink, tulips in bloom, the smell of freshly cut grass on a warm summer day, and time spent at Ormond Beach, Florida. She was deeply thankful for the opportunity to visit with her beloved family there last summer and was already looking forward to planning the next trip.
She loved her little dogs, but above all, she adored her daughter, Ashley—her caretaker, her greatest blessing, and her very best friend. Angela was a devoted and loving mother and an extraordinary grandmother. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she loved them, and all her family, endlessly.
Angela’s kindness, humor, and gentle spirit made her a light to everyone who knew her. She was truly one of a kind, and her life was a blessing beyond measure. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of loving her.

A memorial service will be held on January 31, 2026, at Cochran-McDaniel Funeral Home of Blairsville, GA, at 1:00pm with Rev. Ricky Rogers officiating.

The family will recieve friends from 12:00-1:00pm, on January 31, 2026, at Cochran-McDaniel Funeral Home of Blairsville, GA.
