Mr. Arvil Cole, age 67 of Mineral Bluff, passed away Friday, October 28, 2016 at his home. Mr. Cole was born November 19, 1948 in Murphy, NC to the late Alvah Cole and Orie Cole. Mr. Cole was a member and deacon of Salem Baptist Church in Mineral Bluff. Arvil was preceded in death by son, Andrew Howard
Survivors include: wife of 45 years, Carolyn Cole, daughter, Sandra Cole (J.R.) Carroll, Brother, Jewell Cole, sister, Wilma (Junior) McDaris, sister, Linda (Mark) Golden, grandchilden, D. J. Carroll, Ray Caroll, Jena Hill, great grandchildren, Kimberly Hill, Haizley Hill and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services: Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 5:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Edward Stamey officiating. Interment will follow in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery at a later date.
The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Saturday, November 5, 2016, 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm.
