Austilla Erwin

Mrs. Austilla Ellen Erwin, 89, formerly of Brunswick, Georgia, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2022, at Union General Hospital in Blairsville. Austilla was born December 23, 1932, in Eastman, GA to William Payton Lowery and Annie Pearl Powell Lowery. 

She loved spending time hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors with her late husband of 65 years, William "Bill" Erwin. She loved her family dearly. A talented seamstress, she also ennjoyed crocheting. She crocheted over a hundred sweaters for the children at North Carolina Children's home.

She is survived by her 3 children;Donnie (Darlene) Erwin; Karen (Mark) McDougal; Glenn (Wendy) Erwin; 6 grandchildren; Jeff (Caytie) Campbell; Alan (Rebecca) Erwin; Shea (Kimberly) Campbell; Marcie (Nick) McDonald; Tyler Erwin; Sydney Erwin; and 13 great grandchildren.

Memorial Service, on Friday,December 2, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Cochran Funeral Home & Crematory of Blairsville with Pastor Ricky Powell and music by Cindy Whitmore.

The family will receive friends at Cochran Funeral Home from on Friday, December 2, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
