Beatrice Pittman

Mrs. Beatrice "Granny" Pittman, age 82 of McCaysville, passed away September 26, 2014 at Copper Basin Medical Center. Mrs. Pittman was born July 27, 1932 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL to the late Cleo Mays and the late Inez Lamar Mays. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Kenneth Pittman and grandson, Christopher Pittman.

Survivors include: son, Kenneth Lee Pittman, son and daughter-in-law, Larry (Debbie) Pittman, son and daughter-in-law, Bill (Bobbie) Pittman, son and daughter-in-law, Allan (Sharon) Pittman, daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl (John) Brooks, daughter and son-in-law, Sharon (Stanley) Curtis, sister, Margaret Johnson, 11 grandchildren and12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services: Monday, September 29, 2014 at 1:00 pm at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home with the Minister Richard Marrow officiating. Music provided by: Jan Reid. Pallbearers: Daniel Elrod, Chad Curtis, Aaron Pittman, Scott Pittman, Jeremy Pittman and Josh Pittman. Honorary Pallbearers: Jared Head, Robbie Dean, Scott Shay, Elouise Newton, Michael Keys and Earl Johnson. Interment will follow in Kingtown Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home of McCaysville, GA, Sunday, September 28, 2014, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
