Mrs. Betina Lynn Ford Garrett, age 45 of Marble, NC, passed away Saturday, July 7, 2007 at Murphy Medical Center.
Mrs. Garrett was born Monday, March 26, 1962 in Cherokee County, NC and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Wayne and Ruby Queen, and paternal grandfather, Wayne Ford.
Survivors include: daughter & son-in-law, Jadrien and Stephen Beaver of Warne, NC, son, Drew Garrett of Marble, NC, mother and husband, Lucy and Kent Ford of Marble, NC, father, Herman Ford of Young Harris, GA, grandson, Dylan Beaver of Warne, NC, granddaughter, Jacelynn Beaver of Warne, NC, brother, Tony Ford of Hiawassee, GA and paternal grandmother, Eunia Ford of Warne, NC.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 9, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. from the Cochran Funeral Home with the Dr. Chester Jones and Rev. Paul Jones officiating. Music will be provided by LaBreeska McCoy. Interment will follow in Peachtree Memorial Baptist Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are: Jamey Sparks, Kenny Barnard, Keith Graves, Jeff Graves, Steven Garrett and Tony Garrett. Honorary pallbearers include: Franklin Barnett and Tony Ford.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 - 9 P.M. Sunday, July 8.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations may be made to the family for medical and funeral expenses.
