Bette Jean Stanley

Mrs. Bette Jean Burnett Stanley, age 75 of Cherrylog, passed away Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Union General Hospital. Mrs. Stanley was born April 29, 1939 in Blue Ridge, GA to the late Otis Burnett and the late Ruby Miller Burnett. She was of the Baptist Faith, a accomplished seamstress, she enjoyed reading, cooking, loving and spoiling her grandchildren..

Survivors include: husband of 62 years, Ralph Stanley, son, Steve (Wanda) Stanley, daughter, Joy (Kimmy) Henson, son, Dan (Helen) Stanley, daughter, Jeannie (Randy) Garland, sisters, Bobbie Jo Taylor, Sue Cochran, Gail Ross, brothers, Bill Burnett, Roger Burnett, Ricky Burnett, grandchildren, Stephanie Read, Brian Henson, Heather Stanley, Sean Stanley, Jake Stanley, Anna Garland, Will Garland, great grandson, Caiden Read.

Funeral services: Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at 1:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Tim Taylor officiating. Music by Teresa Ross. Interment will follow in Chastain Memorial Park. Pallbearers: Brian Henson, Sean Stanley, Jake Stanley, Will Garland and Randy Read. Honorary pallbearers: Caiden Read.
