Carol Louise Perry

Carol Louise Hughes Perry, age 85, of Blairsville, Georgia, passed away on July 6, 2026, and entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior. She was born on April 29, 1941, to the late Julius and Louise Macintyre Hughes in Atlanta, Georgia. 

She is survived by her son, Christopher (Leslie) Perry. Many other extended family members and friends also survive. 

Carol was a faithful child of God who sought to proclaim her salvation in Christ to everyone she met. She was a loving and praying mother. She truly loved life and people. Throughout her life, Carol collected duck decoys. It could be said that, "She had her ducks in a row." She worked her career with Bellsouth but also spent hours upon hours in volunteer positions. Carol was a den mother, swim coach, and a life coach. She spent many hours in prison ministry as a volunteer chaplain ministering to women prisoners. She shared her time, her faith, and her love to them. She even ministered to some that were on death row. "Well done, good and faithful servant. Enter thou into the joy of thy Lord."
