Carol Ann Rogers

Carol Ann Rogers, 83, of Blairsville, GA, went home to be with the Lord on September 14, 2026. She was born on November 16, 1942, in Blackington, MA, to Harold and Isabel Button.

Carol lived a life marked by kindness and a genuine love for others. She had a very big heart, an energetic personality, and an outgoing spirit that made her a joy to know. One of her proudest accomplishments was simply what she did so naturally throughout her life: she helped a lot of people. She was proudly involved with Safehouse and with Young Harris College.

Carol lived in Pennsylvania, then Florida, and eventually settled in Blairsville, GA, where she made her home for the past 20 years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Union County.

She loved the outdoors and those warm, sunny days. She found great joy in music, playing both the piano and the organ. Christmas was her favorite time of year.

She is survived by her loving husband, Norman Rogers; children, Christopher Rogers and Daniel Rogers; brother, Harold Button; and grandchildren, Christopher, Kyle, and Melissa; great-grandson, Kyle; niece, Jennifer; and nephew, Eddy.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Isabel; sisters, Joanne and Catherine; and children, Kenneth Rogers and Richard Rogers.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at 3:00 pm at First United Methodist of Union County. Burial will follow.
