Carolyn Hughes

Carolyn Ruth Hughes, 92, of Turtletown, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2023, in Cleveland, TN. Carolyn was born March 8, 1931, in Polk County, TN to John "J.E" and Edna Stiles.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her father, John "J.E" Stiles; mother, Edna Stiles; spouse, Harold "Bunt" Hughes; daughter, Glenda Walker; son, Thomas "Tommy" E. Hughes; and brother, Harold Stiles.

She is survived by her son, Tim (Dianna) Hughes; daughter-in-law, Denice Hughes; sister, Christine Muir; brother, Hoyt Stiles; sister, Betty (R.M.) Collins; sister, Louise (Joe) Womble; five grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

She was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church.

Memorial Service, on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Finch-Cochran Funeral Home.
