Charles Everett Drake

Mr. Charles Everett Drake, age 65, of Andrews, passed away at his home. Saturday, March 17, 2018, Mr. Drake was born October 25, 1952, in Asheville, NC to the late John Carl Drake and the late Laura Styles Drake. Chuck was a wonderful man that was all ways ready to help anyone. He enjoyed working on guns, hunting, and fishing. He was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Bartlett, brothers, Richard Drake, and Burl Drake. Survivors include: wife, Margaret Ann Chastain Drake, step-son Eddie (Lynnette) Huskins, brothers, Ted (Nancy) Drake, Blaine (Linda) Drake,John (Sandy) Drake, and Tyron (Tammy) Drake, sister, Helen Davis, Cynthia (Horace) Biggs, Sue Lequire, Penny (Samuel) Shields, grandchildren, Stephen Hembree, Jordan Mathis, Caleb Edwards, Donavan Shaw, and Kelsey Shaw, numerous nieces, nephews,cousins, friends and family also survive. Funeral services: Tuesday, March 20, 2018, at 2:00 pm at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ralph Barnard and Rev. Patrick Odell officiating. Music provided by Sherry Dailey, Jason, and Hillary Chastain. Interment will follow in Aquone Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers: Jordon Mathis, Josh Hembree, Jim Dailey, Oden Watts, Ted Matoy, and Tommy Styles, honorary pallbearers: Robert Pullium, Mason Moore, and Neil Woody.
