Charles Mason

Charles "Judd" Jordan Mason, age 82, left this walk of life on June 6, 2025, in Lilburn, Georgia. Mr. Mason was born in Blairsville, Georgia, on March 28, 1943, to the late Charles Washington Mason and Mary Lee Jordan Mason. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Everett, George, Jeff, Robert, Wake, Nina, and Leah.

"Judd" was a man of strong faith, integrity, and loyalty. He loved his Lord and Heavenly Father, and the Holy Spirit penetrated his daily walk of life. He was devoted to his family. His work ethic was a fact in his life. "Judd" loved being with people. As a barber, owning his shop for 53 years in Tucker, Georgia, he spent many hours sharing stories with his customers walking together in life with them, where tales were told and shared. He will be remembered for a keen mind and wisdom. He was a stoic, quiet man at times, and an outgoing man with charm at times. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Mr. Mason leaves to cherish his memory his children, Tammie McNabb, Angela Beck (Brandon), and Donald "Donny" (Brittany) Mason; grandchildren Charlette, Robin, Tre, Palmer; special family member Danial; brother, Ronald; sisters, Frankie and Austell. Many additional nieces, nephews, and friends, too numerous to count, also survive.

Funeral services are scheduled to be conducted on Monday, June 9, 2025, at 3:00 P.M. from the chapel of the Cochran McDaniel Funeral Home in Blairsville, Georgia, with Rev. Dr. Tom Jordan officiating and an eulogy shared by Jodie Mason Schmidt. The following gentlemen will be serving as pallbearers: Brandon Beck, Donald Mason, Tre Williamson, Danial Malik, Hunter Knott and Tim Bowen.

The family will be receiving friends for a time of visitation on Monday, June 9, 2025, from 12 Noon until the 3:00 P.M. funeral service hour at the Cochran McDaniel Funeral Home in Blairsville, Georgia. A graveside interment will take place in the Providence Methodist Church Cemetery in Blairsville.
