Clarence Kirkland,

Mr. Clarence Kirkland, Jr., age 50, of Morganton, GA, passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2007. Mr. Kirkland, Jr. was born Friday, July 20, 1956 in Fannin Co., GA to the late Clarence Kirkland, Sr. and the late Easter Bell Anthony Kirkland. He enjoyed fishing and guns.

Survivors include: daughter, Victoria Renee Kirkland of Morganton, GA, daughter, Sara Michelle Kirkland, sister, Barbara Adams of Blairsville, GA, grandchild, William Payton Walker, nephew, Michael Taylor of Morganton, and niece, Fay Pendley of Blairsville.

Funeral services were held Friday, February 16, 2007 at 2:00 PM, from the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Wayland Lovin officiating. Music was provided by Beverly Thompson. Interment followed in Chastain Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers were: Michael Taylor, Jack Shealey, Mark Monkus, Scott Stamey, William Cearley, and Kenneth Stamey. Honorary pallbearers included: Kenneth Stamey, Grant Pendley, and Greg Adams.
