Clyde Davis

Clyde Ray Davis, 96, of Blue Ridge, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2024, at Union General Hospital in Blairsville, GA. Clyde was born July 15, 1927, in Dial, Georgia to Arthur L. and Carrie May Davis.

Clyde was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Carrie Davis; sons, Clyde Ray Davis Jr. and Arthur L. Davis; son-in-law, Kevin Pyles; brother, Henry Clay Davis.

He is survived by his loving wife, Janice Nell Davis; daughter, Terrie Pyles; step-son, Kelly (Melissa) Towe; step-daughter, Kathy Towe; step-son, Keith (Donna) Towe; grandchildren, Kristen (Ron) Rinkenberg, Jeffrey (Lauren) Pyles, Billy Wheeler, Lakota Towe, and Hannah Towe; and great-grandchildren, Rachel Rinkenberg, Levi Rinkenberg, Cullen Pyles, Lane Pyles, Juju Davis, Tyler Wheeler, and Cooper Wheeler..

Mr. Davis was a member of Salem #1 Baptist Church in Suches, Ga. Clyde loved being in nature. He enjoyed being in the woods hunting, or out on the water, fishing. Mr Davis also enjoyed taking care of his lawn by mowing the grass and gardening.

All will miss Clyde and his love for Gods creation.

Funeral Service, on Friday March 8, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with Rev. Timothy Garrett officiating.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Kelly Towe, Jeff Pyles, Jesse Perethian, Billy Wheeler, Tyler Wheeler, and Stephen Tipton.

Honorary Pallbearers to serve; Jerry Millwood, Wilburn Tipton, Barney Kendall, Billy Brawley, Jonathan Tipton, Cullen Pyles, Lane Pyles, and Levi Rinkenberg.

Interment will follow at Salem #1 Baptist Church Cemetery, in Suches, Ga.

The family will receive friends at Henry-Cochran Funeral Home on Friday, 8th of March, 2024 from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM.
