Cornelius Frederic "Fred" Hudson Jr., 70, of Morganton, Georgia, passed away on Friday, July 25, 2025, in Blue Ridge, GA. Fred was born August 11, 1954, in Gainsville, FL to Cornelius Sr. and Wilda Estelle Hudson.Fred was preceded in death by his father, Cornelius Frederic Hudson Sr.; and mother, Wilda Estelle Hudson.He is survived by his wife, Vicki Hudson; sons, Steven (Angela) Sullivan Jr. and Shawn Hudson; sister, Nancy Sharon Holland; brother, Reginald "Reg" (Barbara) Hudson; grandchildren, Jacob L. (Jade) Sullivan and Dalton Hudson; and great-grandchildren, Hunter Sullivan and Heleena Sullivan; nieces, Jessica Bauer, Bridget Leigh Holland (Jamie) Corredor and Celia Lauraine Holland (John) Kent; and nephews, Ian Hudson and Michael Wayne (Judith) Holland Jr.; great-nieces and nephews, Jaedon Ryan, Ashely, Clarke, and Kyle; great-great-nieces and nephews, Tristen, Logan, Dillon and Amelia.  He is also survived by brother and sister-in-laws Scot and Teri Reed, and Joel Reed; nephew and niece and nephew, Brian (Amelia) Reed and Kelli (Paul Stickrath).

Funeral Service, on Thursday July 31, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Cochran-McDaniel Funeral Home & Crematory Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Dr. Chan Mitchell officiating.

The family will receive friends at Cochran-McDaniel Funeral Home & Crematory Blue Ridge Chapel on Thursday, July 31, 2025, from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM.
