Cynthia Ann Burk, age 42 of Epworth, GA, passed away Monday, August 20, 2007 at her home in the Lickskillett Community. Cynthia was born Sunday, September 6, 1964 in Cook County Ill to Tafton Godsey and the late Carolyn Wright Godsey. A member of Bethany Church, she loved cooking and taking care of people, She was preceded in death by mother, Carolyn Wright Godsey.
Survivors include: husband, Robert Frank Burk, son & daughter-in-law, Frank T & Michelle Burk of Epworth, daughter, Jennifer Burk of Epwoth, son, Jesse A. Godsey of Epworth, brother, Johnny Godsey of Tenn., brother, Boyce Godsey of Tenn., nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 23, 2007 at 2:00PM from the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Larry Stover officiating. Music will be provided by the A.C. Caylor Family. Interment will follow in Mobile Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are: Franklin Burk, John Acuff, Wesley Seabolt, John Hammontree, Joseph Wright and Frank T. Burk. Honorary pallbearers include: Amos Burk and Charles Seabolt.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-9, Tuesday and Wednesday August 21and 22.
Arrangements entrusted to the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge.
