Deborah Ann Garland

Deborah Ann Garland, age 70, of Andrews, North Carolina, passed away on July 10, 2026. She was born on December 12, 1955 in Murphy, North Carolina, to the late Maurice and Clara Crawford Piercy. 

Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Michael Piercy and Danny Piercy; nephews, Maurice E. Piercy and Shane Hogsed; nieces, Kathy Hardin and Melissa Garcia. 

She is survived by sisters, Laura (Charles) Hogsed and Martha Pullium; nephews, Danny Piercy, Scott Piercy, Collin Hogsed and Robert Mayfiled; nieces, Robbin Raxter, Angie Mayfield, Lacey Luther and Carly Piercy; great niece, Jazi Killian. 

As per Mrs. Garland's request, no services will be held. She will be buried in the Valley River Baptist Church Cemetery in Andrews, North Carolina.
