Delores Mae Moore, a cherished mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, peacefully passed away on July 30, 2025, in Canton, GA leaving behind a remarkable legacy of love and dedication. Born on November 20, 1936, in Cleveland, Ohio, Delores was a beacon of warmth and compassion throughout her life.

As a devoted wife and mother, Delores was known to many simply as Nanny Moore, a title she wore with pride as she touched the lives of countless children during her 41 years of running a daycare. Delores was a faithful member of the Baptist Faith at Friendship Baptist Church, No. 2, where she found strength and solace. Her steadfastness in her beliefs reflected her character, providing inspiration to family and friends alike.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Junior Moore; her loving daughter, Brenda (Jack) Morgan; and her son, David (Sherry) Moore, who carry forward her spirit of kindness and resilience. Delores's legacy continues through her grandchildren: Jeremy (Lara) Morgan, Justin (Christina) Moore, Danielle Moore, Zach Morgan and great grandchild, Wylder Moore. Each of them holds treasured memories of their grandmother that will be cherished for generations to come.
