She was also very involved in the Union County Band Booster Club, supporting her children as they participated in the Marching Band. She and Harold often chaperoned band trips and assisted in fundraising efforts for the band program.

Dolores enjoyed guiding kids and students in her roles at Union County Elementary School and Union County High School, where she worked as a paraprofessional. She retired from Union County Schools with her final role as Secretary for the Vocational Department.
