Donald Steven Haines

Donald Steven Haines, age 90, of Toccoa, Georgia, passed away on July 17, 2026, in Toccoa. He was born on March 4, 1936, in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, to the late Hampton Winn and Hilda Farrell Haines. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Charles Haines and Sandie Haines. 

Mr. Haines is survived by his wife, Candy Haines; children, Barrie Haines, Randy Haines, Danny Haines, Wanda Adamson, and Curtis Haines; and six grandchildren.

Donald served his country with honor in the United States Navy and the United States Army during the Korean conflict. He had a career with Bell South as a facility technician in telecommunications. 

A graveside interment service will be held at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia on Monday, July 27, 2026 at 1:00 pm.
