Donald Leon Simpson, age 66 of McCaysville, passed away November 15, 2011. Donald was born February 15, 1945 in Decatur, GA to the late Willis Simpson and Nellie M. Wallace.
Survivors include: wife, Jo Ann Caufman Simpson, son, Kenneth Wayne & fiancé Deb Simpson, son, Marvin Keith & wife Lisa Simpson, daughter, Deborah Lynn and husband Greg Wallace, daughter, Cathy Jo and husband Randall Caylor, sister, Bobbie Jean Sheriff, sister, Joy Mae Stubbs, sister, Virginia Massey, brother, Danny Simpson, 18 grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren, and numerous nieces & nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be Saturday, November 19, 2011 at 11:00 am at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home with Mr. Jerald Simmons officiating and the North Georgia Honor Guard presenting.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm on Friday night at the funeral home. Arrangements entrusted to the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home of McCaysville, GA. You may send condolences to the family and sign the guest register at www.cochranfuneralhomes.com.
