Mr. Edward Laird Andre, age 84, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2007, at Fannin Regional Hospial.
Mr. Andre was born in Salt Lake City, UT to the late Morris Van Andre and the late Florence Ruth Hudson Andre. He was a retired Col. Pilot in the U. S. Marine Corp.
Survivors include: wife, Lois Elizabeth Conkin Andre; son & daughter-in-law, Edward A. & Jeanne M. Andre of Indialantic; daughter & son-in-law, Lori & Floyd LeBlanc of Morganton, GA; sister, Lois Smith of Elpaso, TX; sister, Ruth Gher of Phenox, AZ; granddaughters, Jessica Laurn Andre and Erica Elizabeth Andre; great grandson, Brayton Edward Andre; nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held Friday March 30, at 2:00 p.m. from the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Denise Caldwell officiating. Music was provided by Jack Bryson. Military honors by the North Georgia Honor Guard.
In Lieu of flowers, the has requested that all donations be made to the North Georgia Honor Guard.
The Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
