Edwin Alexander Gravatt Jr

Edwin "Sonny" Alexander Gravatt, Jr, of Blairsville, GA, passed away on January 25, 2026. He was born on April 24, 1945, in Richmond, Virginia, to Edwin A. Gravatt, Sr, and Margaret Phillips Gravatt. He was a resident of Blairsville, GA for nearly 30 years. He was a dedicated employee of Bellsouth for 32 years.

Sonny was an outdoorsman who enjoyed photography, riding his motorcycle, hunting, and going out to dinner.

He is survived by his children Patricia Reed and Daryl Gravatt; brother Ronald Gravatt; and grandchildren, René Johnson, Leah Strachan, Daryl Gravatt Jr., Derricl Gravatt, and Makayla Gravatt.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Edwin A. Gravatt, Sr, and Margaret Gravatt.
