Effie Ridler

Effie Lou Ridler 83 of Murphy, went to be with the Lord Friday, January 6 2023 after a brief illness.  Effie was a lifelong resident of Cherokee county. She was born on April 1st, 1939 to Alonzo and Edith (Allen) Beaver. She is preceded in death by her parents as well as four brothers Howard, Odus, Andy, and Fred Beaver, and one sister Louise Pritchett. She is survived by one sister, Mennice Hampton, and two brothers Hubert and Herbert Beaver.  She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Murphy First Baptist Church on Thursday, January 12th, 2023 at 11 am with pastor Jimmy Tanner officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family asked that donations be made to the Sparrow's Nest at Murphy First Baptist Church.
