Elizabeth Evans Fowler, age 89 of Blairsville, GA, passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at Union County Nursing Home. Mrs. Fowler was born Monday, October 15, 1917 in LaFayette, IN to the late Walter Evans and the late Bertha Davidson Evans. She was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Fowler.
Survivors include: daughter, Elizabeth Fowler of Blairsville, GA, daughter, Leslie Ruffner of Blairsville, GA and granddaughters, Elizabeth Ruffner, Anne Ruffner and Dr. Paula Boyle.
No services are planned at this time. In lieu of flower, the family suggests donations be made to the American Cancer Society or to Prevent Blindness.
The Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville, Georgia was in charge of arrangements.
