Elizabeth Swafford

March 26, 1946 — March 30, 2024

Elizabeth "Diane" Swafford, 78, passed away peacefully on 3/30/2024. She was preceded in death by her parents Everette & Thelma Clore. Diane is survived by; brother Theron Clore, and sister Chris Pickett, and two sons Brian & Shane Mumpower. 

Throughout her life, Diane embodied compassion, grace, and strength. She was a devoted wife to Steve Swafford, and a loving mother to Brian & Shane Mumpower. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her family, touching the lives of all who knew her.

Diane was known for her unwavering kindness, generosity and a good laugh! She had a passion for art, and found connection within her community through her involvement in teaching art classes and art activities. Her warmth and empathy left an indelible mark on everyone she met.

In addition to her caring nature, Diane was a woman of many talents and interests. She enjoyed drawing, painting, and collecting dolls. Diane was also known for being found running around town with her friends to the thrift stores, that all knew her by name. 

Her creativity and zest for life were evident in everything she did.

Above all, Diane cherished spending time with her family and friends. She leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and joy that will be carried on by those who were fortunate enough to know her.

She is survived by her children, numerous grandchildren, and extended family. Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

May she rest in peace, knowing she was dearly loved and will never be forgotten.
