Ella Tanner

Ella Annette Tanner, 79, of Murphy, North Carolina, passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at Murphy Rehab and Nursing Home in Murphy, NC. Ella was born September 17, 1944, in St. Petersburg, FL to Robert and Reba Scott.

Ella was preceded in death by father, Robert Scott; mother, Reba Scott; brother, Jimmy Scott

She is survived by Walter Scott (Brother), Randall Tanner (Son), Lauren Tanner (Daughter-in-law), Dennis Tanner (Son), Amy Tanner (Daughter-in-law), Ashley Burgess (Grandchild) and spouse Brandon, Amber Osvold (Grandchild) and spouse Charles, Matthew Tanner (Grandchild) and spouse Kat, Tara Tanner (Grandchild) and partner Steven, Haley Eyster (Grandchild) and spouse Steven. Great grandchildren: McKenzie, Madison, Nahla, Dallas, Brayson, Boone, Arden and Ryleigh.

She loved her family deeply and enjoyed being outside in nature.  Her hobbies included reading and watching Tampa Bay Rays baseball.

Interment will follow at a later date in Greenlawn Cemetery.
