Eugene Edward Little

Eugene Edward Little of Morganton, GA passed away at age 92 on Tuesday, September 15, 2026. Eugene was born August 23, 1934, in Rockford, IL to Charles and Gertrude Little. Eugene was preceded in death by his wife of over 60 years, Nora Louise Little; his father, Charles William Little; his mother, Gertrude Eastman Little Anderson; and his sisters, Lucille Townsend, Marilyn Lilly, and Louise Starwalt.He is survived by his sons, Edward Brian Little and William Lloyd (Teresa) Little; sister, Jeanine Homann; grandchildren, Victoria (Bryse) Paffile, Caleb Little, and Alexandrea (Ivan) Lee; great-grandchildren, Aletheia Paffile, Hudson Paffile, and Titus Paffile; and numerous nieces and nephews.Eugene was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and retired as an engineer from Sunstrand Aviation. He was also a member of the Lion's Club Hall of Fame and a lifetime member of the NRA.

Gene was full of life and creativity, always building something, working on a project, or helping out a neighbor, friend, or family member. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed.

The family will receive friends at Cochran-McDaniel Funeral Home in Blue Ridge, GA on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, from 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM.

The graveside service will be on Tuesday September 22, 2026, at 3:00 PM at Many Forks Baptist Church Cemetery in Young Harris, GA with Chaplain Paul Clark officiating.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Caleb Little, Bryse Paffile, Ivan Lee, Brent Jennings, and Brooks Jennings.
