Eva Lou Boling, age 90 of McCaysville, GA, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at Fannin Regional Hospital. Boling was born Monday, February 5, 1917 in Fannin Co., GA to the late Gordon Jones and the late Rosa Lee McClurd. A member of First Baptist Church McCaysville Copperhill, Librarian and a member of the choir at First Baptist Church McCaysville Copperhill, Past President McCaysville Garden Club, past Secretary AARP, Past Worthy Matron Order of the Eastern Star Beulah Chapter #21, member of the primetime choir, She was preceded in death by husband Sam K Boling, brothers Rembert F. Jones, Leo E. Jones, Cecil W Jones, Grady Jones; sister Marie Richardson.

Survivors include: brother, William C Jones of Westminster, CA, sister, Exie Gibbs of Atlanta, brother, Gordon E Jones of Tucker, GA, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 29, 2007 at 2:00 PM from the First Baptist Church McCaysville/Copperhill with the Reverend Gary Barber officiating. Music will be provided by Reverend Harry Gilbert and the First Baptist Church McCaysville Copperhill Sanctuary Choir. Interment will follow in Crestlawn Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are: Rembert F Jones, Billy Crawford, Oscar Dykes, Jerry Jones, Sid Jones, John Barnette, Raymond Williams, Tim Towe, Geary Queen. Honorary pallbearers include: Adult 3 Sunday School Class.

The family will receive friends at the First Baptist Church McCaysville Copperhill from 12 - 2, Thursday, March 29.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations may be made to the Music Department of the First Baptist Church McCaysville Copperhill.

The Finch-Cochran Funeral Home of McCaysville, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
