Evelyn Farmer Mcgill

Evelyn Farmer McGill, age 69, of Mineral Bluff, GA, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at her home. Evelyn was born Saturday, April 30, 1938 in Fannin to the late Reed Farmer and the late Bernice Gilliam Farmer. Evelyn was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.She was a Piano Teacher and enjoyed gardening along with spending time talking with people. She loved her family and enjoyed her grandchildren.

Survivors include: husband, Richard A. McGill, daughter & son-in-law, Delita & Chuck Taylor of Mineral Bluff, grandson & wife, Joshua & April Jones, granddaughter, Alexis Taylor, and granddaughter, Jessica Taylor.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 25, 2007 at 2:00 PM from the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Gary Barber officiating. Music will be provided by Deloris Gibbs & Girls. Interment will follow in Hot House Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are: Ernest Gibbs, David Gibbs, Robert Buchanan, Monty Womack, Joe Farmer, and Steven Allen. Honorary pallbearers include: Danny Farmer, Richard Gilliam, Buddy Gibbs, and Rev. A.J. Heaton.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-9, Thursday and Friday .
