Evelyn Panter

Evelyn Joyce Bramlett Panter, age 79, passed away September 1, 2023, at her home in Blue Ridge Georgia.  Evelyn was born August 8, 1944, to the late James Bruce Bramlett and Velma Hunt Bramlett.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Everett Panter Senior; a great-grandchild, Rhylan Panter; and brothers and sisters, Ethel Seabolt, Eston Bramlett, and Hubert Bramlett.  She was also preceded in death by son in law, Charles a Garmon Jr. 

Evelyn enjoyed being a homemaker.  She loved to clean her home and have a welcoming atmosphere to all who visited within its walls.  She enjoyed making music playing the piano. Evelyn found joy in working in her gardens, yard, and doing farm chores.  She knew God blessed the work of her hands with fruits for her labor.  She was a member of O'Zion Baptist Church serving her Lord. 

Mrs. Panter is survived by three children; Cindy Underwood, Vivian (Charles - deceased) Garmon, and Charles "Chuck"  Everett (Kim) Panter, Jr. Seven grandchildren; Amanda (Junior) Taylor, Jeremy Underwood, Joshua (Dixie) Underwood, Rhett (Lindsey) Panter, Reece Panter and Fiancee Karigan, Christa Garmon, and Caden Garmon; seven great-grandchildren; Emily Smith, Jade Underwood, Ethan Deal, Nova Underwood, Isabella Underwood, and Raine Panter; one great-great Grandchild also survives; Adelynn Smith.  Many other family members and friends survive to cherish her memory.

Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at 3pm from the chapel of the Henry Cochran Funeral Home in Blue Ridge, Georgia with Rev. Tim Garrett officiating and music selections by Evan Hughes.  The following have been requested to serve as pallbearers: Joshua Underwood, Rhett Panter, Reece Panter, Caden Garmon, Ethan Deal and Edward Panter.  Interment will follow the service in the Sugar Hill Cemetery (Salem #1) Baptist Church.  

The family of Evelyn will be receiving family and friends at the Henry Cochran Funeral Home for a time of visitation on September 5, 2023 from 1pm until the 3pm funeral service hour.
