Frank Ligrnetta Sr.

Mr. Frank Ligrnetta, Sr., age 81, of Blairsville, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, February 12th, 2023 in Blairsville. Frank went home to spend Valentine's Day with his wife.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Camp Ligrnetta; a daughter, Kay Patrick; and his parents, Hosea and Maria Diaz; a son, Frank Ligrnetta, Jr.; sister, Helen Diaz; brothers: Joe Diaz and John Diaz.  

Mr. Ligrnetta was born in Brooklyn, New York, and was a hard worker - he worked hard at his job, and in his yard and garden. He enjoyed singing and dancing around the kitchen, as he prepared meals.

Surviving family members include: children: Vivian, Jerry, Aaron, Loraina Ligrnetta; Thomas, Manny, Roseanna Laino; Pam (Tommy) Searcy, Ken (Karen) Camp; Joy Camp; David, and Joe Camp; five sisters: Mercedes Diaz, Virgin Diaz, and Nahvidad Diaz; a brother, Jorge Diaz; many grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild also survive.

Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at 2:00 p.m., to be held in the Chapel of Cochran Funeral Home in Blairsville, with Rev. Donald Kyle Caudell officiating.  Burial will be in Union Memory Gardens Cemetery in Blairsville.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 12 noon until 2:00 p.m., when the funeral begins.
