Frederick Brumm Sr., a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2026, in Morganton, Georgia. Born on December 31, 1942, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Frederick's life journey was marked by dedication, service, and a love for the outdoors.
Frederick served his country honorably in the United States Air Force from March 23, 1962, until his discharge on December 22, 1966, achieving the rank of E4. His commitment to service was mirrored in his role as a Scout leader, where he inspired and mentored young individuals with his guidance and leadership.
A skilled computer technician, Frederick spent his professional life at Information International Inc, where he applied his technical expertise and passion for innovation. Beyond his career, he was an avid hunter and fisherman, finding joy and solace in nature. Frederick loved skeet shooting and spent countless hours outdoors, sharing these passions with family and friends.
Frederick is survived by his daughter, Veronica Ellsworth (James Ellsworth); sons, Frederick Brumm (Sue) and Jeffrey Brumm (Christine); grandchildren, Alexandria Ellsworth, Elizabeth Sumner (Channing Sumner), Brett Brumm, Jackson Brumm, Mason Brumm, and Matthew Brumm; great-granddaughter, Grace Small; and great-grandson, Patrick Sumner. He also leaves behind his beloved sister-in-law, Rita Brumm.
Frederick Brumm Sr. was a man of faith who embraced life fully, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will be celebrated by all who knew him. His spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, always remembered for his exuberance for life and unwavering support.
Frederick was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Barbara Brumm, father, Charles Brumm, mother, Jean Brumm, and his brother, Robert Brumm.
