George Herman Walters

Mr. George Walters, age 74 of Blairsville, Georgia, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2009. Mr. Walters was born March 27, 1935 in Washington County, Pennsylvania, to Lewis and Lillian Smith Walters. He was a U.S. Army veteran and had lived in the North Georgia area for the past 20 years, moving here from Ft. Pierce, Florida. Mr. Walters worked as a painting contractor.
Survivors include: his wife, Edith Walters of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Jan and Ted Pacer of Blairsville; sister, Thelma Ermlick of Arlington, Virginia, and a grandson, Matthew Pacer of Blairsville.
Memorial services are planned for a later date.
The family has suggested that memorial contributions be sent to The American Kidney Foundation, 6110 Executive Blvd., Suite 1010
