Ernie Crabtree

Mr. Hoyt (Ernie) Crabtree, age 35, passed away on February 15, 2023, in Douglasville, Ga. Hoyt enjoyed his work as an automotive mechanic and enjoyed motorcycles.  He liked the mountains, adored his family and his children were his pride and joy. He was of the Baptist faith.

Hoyt was preceded in death by his grandparents; Nana Mary Wright, Grandpa Jim and Grandma Nellie Harless, Grandpa & Grandma Roberts, Grandma Panky, Granny Margarum, Grandmommy and Granddaddy, Wright, Father-in-Law Brian Jordan and Paul Crabtree.

Mr. Crabtree is survived by his children, Bryanna and Brantley Crabtree; parents, Kevin and Michelle Harless; two brothers, Albert(Mandy) and Garrison(Katie) Harless; sister, Jordon Wright; Grandfather, Hoyt Wright; Spouse Celita Cooley, Sister-in-Law, Kristina Jordan and many half-brothers and half-sisters.  He is further survived by many uncles, aunts and cousins, along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Hoyt Crabtree are scheduled to be conducted on Friday, February 24, 2023, at 2pm from the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Byron Edens officiating.  Interment will follow the service in the cemetery of the New Hope Baptist Church on Loving Road, Morganton, Ga.  

The family of Hoyt will be receiving friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home on Friday, February 24, 2023, prior to the service from 11am until the 2pm funeral service hour.  

Flowers are being accepted or memorial gifts may be given for an education fund for his children.
