James Bell

Mr. James W Bell, age 90, of Blue Ridge, GA, passed away on Monday, October 20, 2025, in Blue Ridge, GA. James was born June 27, 1935, in Mineral Bluff, GA to Edgar Bell and May Bell. 

James was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Burkhalter Bell; daughters, Janice Bell and Ann Bell; brothers, J.C. Bell and Frank Bell; sisters, Frances Loudermilk, Retheal Abernathy and Flonnie Cole; father, Edgar Bell; and mother, May Bell.

He is survived by his son, Jerry Wesley Bell; sister, Bonnie (John) Watkins; brothers, Harley Bell and Lawrence (Barbara) Bell; grandchildren, Jerry Grady Bell and Janice Ann Bell; one great grandson; one great granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews also survive. 

Funeral Service, on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Cochran-McDaniel Funeral Home Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Scott Ware officiating.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Lynn Bell, Jim Robinson, Jimmy Jones, Jerry Bell, Chandler Bell, and Tyler Bell. 

Interment will follow at Shoal Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Buford, GA. 

The family will receive friends at Cochran-McDaniel Funeral Home & Crematory Blue Ridge Chapel on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 from 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM.
