James "Steve" Cochran

James "Steve" Stevenson Cochran, age 70, of Blue Ridge, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2023, in Blue Ridge, GA. James was born December 1, 1952, in Copperhill, TN to the late James Cochran and the late Helen Ledford Cochran. James was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Cochran.

He is survived by his son, Michael (Vera) Davis; brother, Bruce (Janet) Cochran; grandchildren, Holly (Kainan) King, Emily Davis, Kayla (Daniel) Shields, Dakota (Angel) Hawkins, Macy Hawkins, Cooper Davis, and Levi Davis; great-grandchildren, Hadi Sue King, Silas King, and Coy King; niece, Jennifer (Daniel) Paulk; and nephew, Joe (Stephanie) Smith.  James loved fishing and spending time with his family.

Funeral Service: Saturday March 4, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with Rev. Sammy Ledford officiating. Interment will follow in the Chastain Memorial Park Cemetery in Blue Ridge, GA. Pallbearers, Billy Galloway, Darren Ledford, Perry Ledford, Jeff Ledford, Kainan King, and Daniel Shields. Honorary pallbearers: Joe Smith, Roger Dale, Cooper Davis, Levi Davis, Dennis Chapman, Hank Postell, Malcom Davis, and William McGill.

The family will receive friends at Henry-Cochran Funeral Home Saturday, March 4, 2023, 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM.
