James Edward Dockery, age 74, of Blue Ridge, GA, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2024, at his home. James was born July 27, 1949, in Warne, NC to Virgil and Mary Dockery.
James was preceded in death by his father, Virgil Dockery; mother, Mary Dockery; and brother, Junior Dockery
He is survived by his daughter, Jeanne (Edward) McDonald; son, James Christopher Dockery; daughter, Joy (Mitchell) Tillman; sisters, Frances (Harold) Henderson and Jessie (Ricky) Davis; grandchildren, Christian Wilson, Jade Chambers, Asia Hortman, Braeden Carter, and Hudson Tillman; and nephew, Tommy Dockery.
A memorial will be held at a later date.
