James Howard Kent

James Howard Kent, age 82 of Morganton, GA passed away Sunday, September 27, 2020, in Chattanooga, TN. Mr. Kent was born February 3, 1938, in Atlanta, GA to the late Harry Gilbert Kent and the late Loinda Irene Kent. A member of Blue Ridge First Baptist Church, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Thomas Kent, sister, JoAnne Andrews, brother-in-law, David Thomas, and his sister-in-law, Pat Kent. Mr. Kent was very involved with his church and also enjoyed woodworking projects that included building furniture and picture frames. He also loved spending time with his beloved dog "Bubba."

Survivors include: daughter, Sally Kent and brother, Rodney Kent.

Memorial service: Saturday, October 3, 2020, at 1:00 pm at the Blue Ridge First Baptist Church with the Rev. Bob Richardson officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
