James Larry Parris

James "Jimbo" Larry Parris, Jr, born on June 27, 1968, in Copperhill, Tennessee, to James Parris Sr and Donna Callihan, Parris. He passed away on June 5, 2026, at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta. James is preceded in death by his mother Donna Faye Callihan Parris.

James was a lifelong resident of Fannin County and enjoyed living in the mountains of North Georgia. He was known as a hard worker and enjoyed lending a hand to all who needed it. He spent most of his life working as a carpenter and enjoyed working on vehicles.

He had a deep love for the great outdoors and spent countless hours fishing and hunting as a hobby.

James is survived by his son, Bradlee Parris, sister, Sherry (Rodney) Harris; his brother, Chad Parris; and his father, James Parris Sr. He will be lovingly remembered by his nephew, Bradlie Schuknecht; his niece, Raven Schuknecht; as well as his great-niece and great-nephews, Rayleigh Schuknecht, Cage Cook, and Kriedynce Cook.
