Mr. James "Sonny" Lynn Boyer, age 84, of Blairsville, who passed away on Monday evening, January 18, 2016 at his home.
Mr. Boyer was born in Chicago, Illinois, on December 13, 1931, a son of the late James Posey Boyer and the late Myrtis Virginia Bell Boyer. He served in the U.S. Air Force, and is survived by his wife, Sandra Laurie, of Blairsville. Many other relatives also survive.
Memorial services have been scheduled for Sunday, January 31, 2016 at 10:30 a.m., to be held at Suches Community Center (PLEASE NOTE: LOCATION HAS BEEN CHANGED) in Suches, Georgia, with Rev. Fred Whitley officiating. North Georgia Honor Guard and U.S. Air Force will present Military Honors.
