James Edward Callihan

Mr. James Edward Callihan, age 81, of Blue Ridge, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at his home following an extended illness. He was born July 15, 1941, in Fannin County to the late Willard Callihan and Pauline Montgomery Callihan. James lived most of his life in the Blue Ridge area and was a Hot House Baptist Church member. He had worked as a repairman for the Copper Company for several years. He enjoyed spending time fishing and hunting.

He was preceded in death by his son, Wallace Callihan.

Survivors include his companion, Shirley Gibbs, daughter, Debbie Jane Howard and Janice (Terry) McKinney, and twin sisters, Frankie Pickelsimer and Frances Chadwick. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

There will be a visitation of family and friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home Thursday, December 1, 2022, from 12:00 Noon to 4:00 PM.
