Jane Mallonee Teasley

Jane Mallonee Teasley, age 68 of Blue Ridge, passed away May 30, 2012 at Piedmont Hospital. Mrs. Teasley was born August 14, 1943 in Franklin, NC to the late George and Edith Mallonee. A member of Temple Baptist. She was a retired teacher who taught in Cobb County at North Cobb High School and Etowah High School in Cherokee County. Mrs. Teasley was instrumental in the founding of Mountain Area Christian Academy.

Survivors include: husband, Howell Teasley, daughter, Pamela (Robert E.) Dobbins, son, Samuel (Michelle) Teasley, grandson, Phillip Dobbins, granddaughter, Kimberley Dobbins, granddaughter, Katherine Travis, granddaughter, Sara Emily Dobbins, grandson, Nathan Howell Teasley, grandson, Joshua Kyser Teasley, granddaughter, Laura Christine Teasley.

Funeral services: Sunday, June 3, 2012 at 3:00 pm at the Temple Baptist Church with the Rev. Roger Beck officiating. Music provided by: Greg Norton & Robert Dobbins. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Franklin, N.C.

The family will receive friends at the Temple Baptist Church of Blue Ridge, Sunday, June 3, 2012 from 2:00pm - 3:00.
