Jerleen Owens, of Brasstown, NC, passed away Friday, June 25 at her home after an extended illness. She was born July 20, 1948.
Jerleen loved her dogs, reading, along with growing flowers and vegetables. She was a lifelong resident of this area, and a member of Little Brasstown Baptist Church.
Jerleen is survived by her son, Kelly and grandson Kasey and Kasey's mother, Vicki, along with her sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Gene Kephart, several other family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 1, 2010, at 7:00 p.m. at Little Brasstown Baptist Church.
The Cochran Funeral Home of Murphy, NC in charge of arrangements.
