Jessalean "Jessie" Cobb

Jessalean "Jessie" Cobb, age 84 of Morganton, passed away Thursday, November 6, 2014, at Union General Hospital. Mrs. Cobb was born November 21, 1929, in Benton, TN to the late Herman Richards and the late Lizzie Rogers Richards. She was a member of Hempton Baptist Church, enjoyed working in the garden, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband, Charles Cobb, brothers, Harrison Richards, Doyle Richards, Everett Richards, Roy Richards, Bob Richards, J.B. Richards, sisters, Ruby Goodwin and Nora Vaughn

Survivors include: son, Jimmy (Raylene) Cobb, daughter, Cindy (Danny) Davenport, daughter, Thyra (Steve) Wilson, son, Charles Howard Cobb, brother, James Richards, sister, Vergie Reece, grandchildren, James (Lynn) Wilson, Jeremy (Linda) Wilson, Charlotte (William) Long, Dannon Davenport, Shannon Davenport, Jesse and Bryant Davenport, Jason (Heather) Cobb, Joshua Cobb, Brittany Cobb, eighteen great grandchildren.

Funeral services: Sunday, November 9, 2014 at 3:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Eric Davenport officiating. Music provided by: Marilyn Thomas . Interment will follow in Hempton Cemetery. Pallbearers: James Wilson, Jeremy Wilson, Jason Cobb, Joshua Cobb, Tyler Bradburn, and Austin Bradburn. Honorary pallbearers: Logan Wilson, Chad Vance, Justus Wilson, Kolby Long, Keaton Long, Blake Bradburn, Jesse Davenport, and Bryant Davenport.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Saturday, November 8, 2014, 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
