Mr. Jesse Albert Gibson, age 56 of Hiawassee, GA, passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2007.
Mr. Gibson was born Monday, July 9, 1951 in Towns Co., GA. He was a member of Upper Bell Creek Full Gospel Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Winford Gibson, and two brothers, Willie Winston Gibson and William Wilford Gibson .
Survivors include: wife, Martha Gibson of Hiawassee, GA, mother and step-father, Margie and Sammy Johnson of Hiawassee, GA, son, Jesse Gibson, JR of Hiawassee, GA, daughter, Christy Moody of Hiawassee, GA, sisters, Clara Jo Ledford of Hiawassee, GA, Jeanette Wade of Hiawassee, GA, Geraldine Davenport of Hayesville, NC, Angela Hamilton of Hiawassee, GA, grandchildren, Christian Elizabeth Gibson, Waylon Clayton Gibson, and Christina Josie Gibson, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 11, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. from the Macedonia Baptist Church with Rev. Harold Ledford, Rev. Anthony Dye, officiating. Music will be provided by Ryan Wilson. Interment will follow in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Eddie Osborn, Brent Osborn, Brian Osborn, Nolan Parker, Carroll McKinney, James Goodwin. Honorary pallbearers will be Ricky Wade, Jimmy McKinney, Willie Joe Gibson, Samuel Heath Gibson and Junior Wade.
The family will receive friends at Macedonia Baptist Church from 6-9, Friday, August 10.
