Mr. Jim Arp, age 75 of Murphy, NC, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2007 at Murphy Medical Center.
Mr. Arp was born Sunday, November 8, 1931 in Polk County, TN to the late Eugene Arp and the late Ethel Hyde Arp. He was a member of Montgomery Lodge #426 and was preceded in death by brother, Hoyt Arp.
Survivors include: wife, Mildred Arp of Murphy, NC, son & daughter-in-law, Mike and Kathy Arp of Dawsonville, GA, son & daughter-in-law, Tony and Connie Arp of Dawsonville, GA, sister, Ann Davenport of Epworth, GA, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Masonic graveside services will be held Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at Mount Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are: members of Montgomery Lodge #426. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
Arrangements entrusted to Cochran Funeral Home of Murphy, North Carolina.
