Mrs. Joan Marie Booth, age 78, of Blairsville, GA, formerly of Murphy, NC, passed away Friday, December 4, 2009 at Union County Nursing Home.
Joan was born on June 20, 1931 in Suffolk County, NY, to the late Thomas and Mary McCourt Bradley. She was a member of St. William Catholic Church, Murphy and was preceded in death by first husband, James Ireland, second husband, Robert Booth, son, Johnny Ireland and sister, Sally Bradley.
Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Johnny Kierbow of Murphy, NC, son, Tim Ireland of LaGrange, GA, four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, Decmeber 10, 2009 at 4P.M. at the St. William Catholic Church, Murphy, NC with Father George Kloster officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. William Catholic Church.
