Joan Delores Bassetti

Joan Delores Bassetti, age 85 of Blue Ridge, passed away March 13, 2019, at Blue Ridge Assisted Living Center. Mrs. Bassetti was born November 20, 1933, in Fort Benning, GA to the late John Thomas Yancey and the late Clara Bell Milam Yancey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Bassetti; sister, Gladys Morris; and daughter, Debra Lynn VanKirk. Mrs. Bassetti lived a life of service and endeavored to help others in any way she could and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include: daughter, Lydia Bassetti and daughter-in-law Erin Brandy; daughter, Terri Weaver; son, Thomas Dwayne Bassetti; sister, Mattie Joyce Mills; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews also survive.
