JoAnn M Stroup

JoAnn M. Stroup, 79, of Hiawassee, GA, passed away on March 29th, 2024, in Hiawassee, GA. She was born on September 30th, 1944, in Chattanooga, TN, to the late James and Lucille Mountain.

JoAnn led a fulfilling life, retiring from her career in bookkeeping for an automobile service. Her dedication and hard work left a lasting impact on those around her. Beyond her professional accomplishments, JoAnn was known for her passion for gardening and flowers. Her green thumb brought beauty and joy to all who knew her.

Faith was an integral part of JoAnn's life as she followed the Baptist faith with unwavering devotion.
She is survived by her daughter Ginny (Jim) Glass; grandchildren Cody Lee Glass and Logan Michael Glass; sister Virginia (Gary) Wimsett; her significant other Harold Wagoner; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents James and Lucille Mountain.

A private family interment will be held at a later date.

JoAnn's memory will forever be treasured by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the eternal beauty she so loved.
